Fexy Media was founded in Seattle Washington in 2014 by media veterans Cliff and Lisa Sharples and investment professional, Ben Sternberg. Fexy Media is a collection of authentic digital food & lifestyle brands with original voices for the millennial generation and beyond.

Lisa holds a B.A. from Bowdoin College in Biochemistry and Photography, and an M.B.A. from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.

Lisa’s favorite things:
photography, cooking, gardening, traveling and spending time with her husband Cliff, their five children, three dogs, and two birds.

Fun facts:
She is a certified Falconer, loves putting googly eyes on everything, and can make a cherry pie with a lattice top in under 2 minutes.

Jalaane is a Dean’s List graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Advertising.

Digging in the dirt, home renovations, travel and time with husband and daughters.

Fun Facts:
She is an expert shopper, believes red-heads have the most fun and can figuratively as well as literally--tap dance.

Kelly enjoys eating nachos, playing golf and spending time with his partner Stephanie and 3 children.

Life goals - get a hole-in-one, parachute landing onto a moving boat, and beat an NBA star in a game of HORSE... retired NBA counts.

A New York Times bestselling author, Jane Stern has been a professional writer since 1976. Her books have been published by six of the Big Six publishers in New York, as well as many others. Jane attended The Walden School in NYC, received a B.F.A. in Graphic design at Pratt Institute, and an M.F.A. in Fine Arts at Yale University.

Jane’s favorite things:
Road trips, good food, small towns, and nice people. Writing is pretty fun too.

Fun facts:
Jane has been a volunteer EMT since 1999. She wrote and published a memoir (Ambulance Girl) which was made into a movie starring Kathy Bates (as her).

Jane and Michael have published more than 30 books and won 3 James Beard awards for their work. Michael attended Johns Hopkins and Yale University, and received degrees in American Studies, Art History, and Film History from University of Michigan and Columbia University.

Michael’s favorite things:
Seafood, baked goods, road trips, good food and nice people.

Fun facts:
He can’t resist stopping to eat at any place with a statue of a cow on the roof, but won’t stay if the pies in the display case don’t look homemade.

Hugh’s favorite things:
Plying the waters of the world with his fly rod. Skiing, cooking, photography, golf camping, road trips, making music and enjoying the outdoors with his wife and two boys.

Fun Facts:
Hugh's palate was exposed to a wide variety of foods from a very young age. His mom used to feed him steak tartare, frozen hotdogs, and peanut butter, lettuce and mayonnaise sandwiches.

Ed holds a B.A. in Music from Grinnell College in Iowa, and received his M.B.A. from Columbia Business School.

Writing, eating and spending time with family.

Ed ate over 1000 pieces of pizza the year he wrote his book!

Road trips to the beach and beyond, skiing, mountaineering, and spending time with his wife Lisa, their five children, three dogs and two birds.

Fun facts:
He loves latte art, dangling his feet over high places around the world, and gardening and somehow successfully grows a collection of tropical plants, including banana trees, at his home in the NW.
